At HOTELES INTUR, we are getting ready to see you again. We have designed a re-opening plan for all our hotels to guarantee your safety, health and well-being.
We want you to be able to visit us and enjoy your well-deserved trip with complete peace of mind.

PERSONNEL
- - Creation, communication, training and updating of an in-house document with all the rules and action procedures in the different scenarios covered by COVID-19.
- - We conduct internal risk audits depending on the job.
- - We supply all the PPE needed like vinyl and nitrile gloves or face masks.
- - Temperature is taken at the start of the workday
- - Disinfection at the end of each shift of keyboard, mouse, screens, table, counter, pens, printers and chair
- - Training in prevention for all new employees
GUESTS
- - Creation, communication, training and updating of a document with all the rules and action procedures in the different scenarios covered by COVID-19:
- Informative flyer handed out on arrival
- Information available in all common areas
- - Provision of hydroalcoholic gel, tissues and pedal bin where these items can be disposed of
- - Provision of SANS eco-friendly amenities and an extra healthcare amenity kit on request (gloves, face mask, and hydroalcoholic gel)
- - Capacity: All our common areas will have an indicator of maximum capacity and control over it.
- - Safety areas: Barriers and markings of areas in line with the new social distancing rules.
RECEPTION
- - Communication of the measures taken to guarantee health and hygiene inside the hotel
- - Communication of the procedures in the event that symptoms of COVID-19 are detected in a guest
- - Installation of screens and/or marking of spaces between people to ensure safety distances
- - Offer more online check-in options
- - Special protocols: Handover of keys, lost property, luggage storage
COMMON AREAS
- - Increased cleaning and disinfecting in toilets, corridors and entrances.
- - Removal of fabric towels in toilets and replacement with paper towels
- - New signage system, where we will inform of uses, safety measures, capacity, etc.
- - In visible areas, provision of hydroalcoholic gel, tissues and pedal bin where these items can be disposed of
- - Restriction of lift use to family units only
- - We are improving the air-conditioning and recirculation systems
ENTERTAINMENT
- - Compliance with the new protocols on leisure and sport activities
- - Collective or group activities, supervised to ensure compliance with the measures of distancing and control

EVENTS

RESTAURANT
- - Training for all personnel: launch and monitoring of new rules and processes arising from the changes brought about by COVID-19, and HACCP update
- - In visible areas, provision of hydroalcoholic gel, tissues and pedal bin where these items can be disposed of
- - Redesign of capacity according to regulations:
- Creation of shifts to improve service
- Increase in capacity using adjacent rooms
- - Supervised buffets:
- Inspection of all anti-fog screens to guarantee their effectiveness. In the event they are not effective, purchase new ones.
- Provision of personnel to serve and take food to the guests.
- - Individual servings: Avoid insofar as possible handling food by using individual portions
- - Room service as an alternative to dining-room service, with an improved menu
- - Use of disposable table cloths and serviettes at the start of the reopening
- - Disinfection of hands at the entrance and intensified cleaning on counters and bars
- - Use of protective screens for food
GYM / SPA AREA / POOLS
- - Capacity and COVID-19 preventive measures will be indicated
- - Towels for the gym are available in reception and are provided in a protective bag. A basket will be provided for used towels
- - Special guidelines for air input for gyms, spas, covered pools and changing rooms.
- - Guidelines for the monitoring of pools and current effective treatment against viruses, bacteria and mould that prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
- - Loungers must be placed in a way that respects safety distances, except when used by family units. Guests must use their own separate towel on loungers
- - Hand hygiene station with bottle of disinfectant, single-use paper and pedal bin to disinfect hands
